Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE+ announced for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC​

More information to be announced on May 9.

Publisher Spike Chunsoft and developer Too Kyo Games have announced Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE+ for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam). It will launch on July 18.

Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE first launched for Switch on June 30, 2023. This “+” version will include additional elements.

Some info about Master Detective Archives: RAIN Code+ for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC (including a potential October 1 western release date):




- July 18 seems to be the release date for Japan only. A post by Spike Chunsoft on the Steam forums notes that English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish language support will be added on October 1.

Pre-orders include the digital novel "How to Be a Master Detective: A Yakou Furio Case" (same as the Switch version).

- The Digital Deluxe Edition includes a digital art book and digital soundtrack.




- A physical edition will be available for PS5 in Japan. (As for the west, no details about the game's release have been announced yet, whether physical or digital.)
- The new features in this "+" release are as follows:
• 4K resolution support and improved performance.
• Gallery Mode – View various scenes and listen to background music.
• Four downloadable contents included:

‣ "Ch. Fubuki: Fubuki’s Luckiest Day"
